Student Leadership

My leadership journey began as Class President, where I learned that leadership is about service, not titles.
That lesson carried me to new opportunities—like being handpicked by the Dallas Mayor’s Office to serve as “Mayor for the Day,” where I shadowed the mayor and saw how leadership can impact an entire city.
Through Model United Nations, I expanded my perspective globally, serving as Chair of the American Revolution Committee and being selected as a delegate for the Iberian Model UN in Lisbon.
Now, as Teen President of the Jack and Jill of America San Diego Chapter, I’ve turned my passion into purpose and created a national partnership that teaches cooking classes to 300+ kids quarterly, empowering them to build confidence and lead in new ways.
At the heart of it all, my mission stays the same: to show that leadership isn’t about age—it’s about action. Anyone can lead now.
Meet my community
What started as a small passion project has grown into a thriving community of 3,000+ people who share the same mission, to empower confidence and leadership in the kitchen and beyond.
Through The Step Stool Chef, I’ve connected kids, parents, and educators who believe in the power of hands-on learning and youth empowerment.
